This course is designed to provide undergraduate nursing students with the theoretical knowledge and skills required to care competently and safely for seriously ill patients or injured victims in emergency situations or disasters. It focuses on the application of an accurate assessment and provision of emergency nursing care according to the priorities. This course also emphasizes on providing students with critical thinking, clinical judgment, problem solving and team working skills.

This course is designed to provide students with basic knowledge and skills in the area of critical care nursing, focusing on critical care nursing  related concepts and technology needed to provide comprehensive holistic  nursing care for critically ill patients/family in collaboration with the other health care team members

The course focuses on health maintenance issues and problem-solving approach in providing nursing care to critically ill patients. Knowledge and skills developed through this course will enable students to provide comprehensive nursing care to core body systems for critically ill patients and their families.

This course focuses on recognition of the hazards that critically ill patients may be exposed to and the measures to improve patient’s safety in the critical care environment as well as the occupational hazards, injuries and diseases of the health care workers and the principles of occupational safety.

This course is designed to equip doctoral students with rationalized ways of thinking in a holistic manner considering all body systems. This course also aimed at utilizing of professional performance standards, nursing guidelines and different care bundles to sustain quality of care, standards-based and evidence-based practices in critical care nursing.
